Abia Warriors goalkeeper, Charles Tambe Shot By Unknown Gunmen In Ibadan


Report says, Cameroon  and Abia Warriors Goalkeeper Charles Tambe was  shot in Apata area of Ibadan, Nigeria by unknown gunmen on Friday April 3.

It was gathered Charles went for his daily morning walkout around 7 a.m. in the Apata area of Ibadan where his family resides.

It was reported that  he was attacked by some criminals who collected his wristwatch and mobile phone while they shot him on his hand.

While speaking to the newsmen, a source close to the family,  confirmed that Tambe’s wife has deposited a partial payment for the treatment of her husband at the University College Hospital in Ibadan.

it should be noted that Tambe returned to Ibadan to join his family after the suspension of the Nigeria Professional Football League due to the coronavirus outbreak.
